Netlink Group rises to the occasion again: Assisting WA Electoral Commission with the 2009 Daylight Savings Referendum
After cementing a sound relationship with WAEC through successful engagements in previous elections, Netlink Group was called upon again to assist WAEC in WAs 2009 Daylight Saving Referendum.
Netlink Group have assisted WAEC in periodical WA State elections since 2005, however in 2008 a snap decision by the Labour government to call for an election only gave WAEC a two week lead time to organise. Netlink Group was heavily involved with activity to plan and implement an IT & Communications network capable of supporting the event. The combined efforts of the IT staff at WAEC and Netlink Group resulted in an election process with no IT related disruptions.
WAEC chose to partner with Netlink Group yet again to assist in planning and implementation of IT logistics in the 2009 WA Daylight Saving Referendum. Once again, the end result kept to the high standards which Netlink Group have set precedent in the past, providing a referendum without any major interruptions.
